MamaSquads ("we," "our," or "us") operates the MamaSquads mobile application and website (mamasquads.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, date of birth, area/zip code, bio, children's names and birthdates, interests, and profile photo.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the app, including groups you join, events you attend, and interactions within the community.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and improvement purposes.

Other verified members can see: your name, area (not exact address), bio, children's ages (not names or birthdates), interests, profile photo, and verification status. Children's names and exact birthdates are never shared publicly.
To verify your identity, we require you to submit a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie through our third-party verification partner, Stripe Identity.
What face data is collected:
How face data is used: Face data is used solely to confirm that you are a real person and that your selfie matches your government-issued ID. No other use is made of this data.
Where face data is stored: Face data is processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. on their secure servers. MamaSquads does not store, access, or retain your face data, selfie photos, or ID photos on our own servers.
Face data sharing: Face data is never shared with other MamaSquads members, advertisers, or any other third parties. Only your verification status (verified or not verified) is stored by MamaSquads.
Face data retention: Stripe retains verification data according to their privacy policy and applicable law. You may request deletion of your verification data by contacting us at mama.squads1@gmail.com.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption provided by our database partner (Supabase). We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
MamaSquads is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Children's names are only visible to their parent/guardian. Only ages are displayed to other members. We do not collect any information directly from children. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
We collect your general area or zip code to match you with nearby moms. We do not collect precise GPS location data. Your exact address is never stored or shared.

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, export your data, opt out of non-essential communications, and request deletion of your face/identity verification data. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Face data and identity verification data held by Stripe is subject to Stripe's retention policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
